Kristina Meza joined the CalFresh Branch at CDSS in January of 2019. Prior to her work as the CalFresh Acting Policy & Employment Chief, she managed workforce development programs for an Orange County-based nonprofit agency, OCAPICA (Orange County Asian & Pacific Islander Community Alliance) and managed fiscal operations for several workforce development programs at an LA-based government agency. With OCAPICA, Kristina led efforts to incorporate refugees and immigrants in traditional workforce development services, utilizing state and federal grants to support work around cultural competency and language access.
